Upon wandering into the living room this morning my son, Cody, age 3.5, declared:

“Hey! Let’s watch ducks.
Auntie Kristy’s NOT a duck.
Auntie’s NOT an ant.
Auntie Kristy’s house is too far away.
I’m a very sad lizard.”

It kinda reminds me of one of those weird little so-called poems that seemingly had no rhyme or reason that we had to analyze back in high school… what the heck were those called?

Kids.
